Paypal was replaced by Neteller.Who will replace Neteller if they exclude US business.

How is this situation different from Paypal leaving the offshore industry?

There would be a huge void if Neteller eventually declines US market share and more importantly a huge opportunity.Who will take advantage of that opportunity? Bodog? A Neteller current competitor? A new company?

The multi-billion dollar industry is too large to ignore a cash position like that and when Paypal changed operations, Neteller filled the void.Isn't it reasonable to consider a Neteller void would be filled if it happened?
I haven't seen any convincing statements otherwise.Opinions>?

If neteller goes there will be LOTS of competition for that business. The market is simply not going to "leave that money on the table". It may be best for a company to have its origins in the current climate as it makes them far less likely to ever fold and thus provides greater longer term stability. Unfortunately, it could take a while for the battle to shake out to the point where there is a company everyone trusts to the degree needed.

I think what he means is an e-wallet like neteller, at least that's what i'm looking for - because the biggest problem us getting funds from one bok to another. Fedex, citadel and western union don't fit that bill....not sure about click-to-pay or solidy pay...anyone know anything about those two? Need a relatively safe netteller-like option that most of the major books accept and doesn't intened to close down to americans anytime soon.

why not just e-gold..best e-commerce site out there by far. The US tried to go after the man behind it who was at the time living in Miami, but came up with nothing. Have sportsbooks ever considered this, am i missing somethin?

Egold has allowed so many shady businesses to use it..

Doubt he would block gaming.

Not sure I trust em though.

No company that does ach transactions for funding with survive. Solid Pay, Citadel and others are just next in the pecking order. Any company that uses the us banking system will not survive.

e-gold has been around for more than ten years, and does over a billion a year in transfers ... not exactly a small potatoes operation. Despite endless negative press and people's "gut feeling" bullshit forum posts, e-gold itself has never given anyone a reason to distrust it.

That said, until and unless they move out of Florida, I don't think any book would be prudent depending on e-gold for processing, at least not as a primary provider.

Regarding the ACH/EFT issue, you guys need to all put it out of your mind. Any service anywhere in the world that offers US$ ACH/EFT transfers into sportsbooks will be getting the axe from the US government. Start a service tomorrow, and until and unless this legislation is repealed you will be out of business within a few months. The banking system is how these things are tracked and controlled -- so any system that offers easy bank convertibility is out of the question.
